Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Axel Tasis got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute Axel Tasis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vito Abasalo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 5 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Caitano Aguilar came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Caitano Aguilar in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. After 9 minutes of play, Trecebarras's Machado Babia made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! 17 minutes into the match, Caitano Aguilar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Caitano Aguilar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 25 minutes into the game, Alan Moruga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Trecebarras the free kick. Machado Babia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Machado Babia in the 29th minute of play. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Favila Flores in the 35th minute of the match. The Trecebarras fans' excitement grew in the 37th match minute when Trecebarras's Machado Babia looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 41st minute, Xamin Salazar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Machado Babia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. The Costa Rica players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Trecebarras were winning 0-5.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Machado Babia made a kick off. Juan Rubio's late challenge caught a Trecebarras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juan Rubio helped the player get up and apologised. After 51 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Juan Rubio. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Xamin Salazar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xamin Salazar in the 56th minute of play. Machado Babia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Trecebarras's Osoro Erosa got a free kick in the 60th minute. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Machado Babia sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Alan Moruga got a free kick in the 72nd minute. In the 73rd minute, Machado Babia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Trecebarras fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-8. Xamin Salazar was extremely unlucky when he, in the 76th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Caitano Aguilar in the 76th minute. Alan Moruga kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. In the 78th minute, Machado Babia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 79 minutes, Benito Sanz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Caitano Aguilar took a quick shot and it went in 0-9 without a chance for Benito Sanz to make any attempt to save it. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caitano Aguilar in the 84th minute of play. After 87 minutes of play, Trecebarras's Xamin Salazar made it 0-10 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice moves Machado Babia could shoot a difficult shot in the 91st minute, which Benito Sanz however easily saved by the left post. When the match was over Trecebarras could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Costa Rica throughout the match.
