None of the them looked very eager to play. 梅宇卫 started the match with the kick off. 吕洋鹏 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 3rd minute of the match. The supporters of Chile booed when 天下常熟 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sverker Askberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15th match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Fontirroig to maneuver through the defense. In the 17thth minute of the game 梅宇卫 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chile's Thiago Pliego was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 吕洋鹏 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, 天下常熟's 温树宽 got a free kick in the 27th minute. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 梅宇卫 in the 30th minute of the match. Orlando Casaus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 吕洋鹏 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by 梅宇卫 in the 39th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 梅宇卫, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Patric Linqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. 吕洋鹏 made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 54th minute. After 57 minutes Chile's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was 洪政阳 who took care of the corner kick. 60 minutes into the match, Mariano Lacasa notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of 天下常熟's 吕洋鹏. 吕洋鹏 was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 吕洋鹏 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 65th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, 天下常熟's 梅宇卫 got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 72nd minute, 梅宇卫 left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 天下常熟 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 吕洋鹏 made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Francisco Carballar sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 梅宇卫 in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thiago Pliego prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 梅宇卫 in the 85th minute of play. With a little luck, 天下常熟's 吕洋鹏 got control of the ball when Mariano Lacasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
