Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anselmo Baresi in the 3rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Agustín Saelices might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fausto Di Giambattista. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Agustín Saelices ran back to his position shaking his head. Fausto Di Giambattista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustín Saelices in the 9th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, DESTROYER's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Fausto Di Giambattista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 11 played minutes DESTROYER got a freekick which was hit by Niall May. Fausto Di Giambattista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 13th minute of the match. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Di Giambattista having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, DESTROYER's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Fausto Di Giambattista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fausto Di Giambattista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustín Saelices, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. A collision led to DESTROYER getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Anselmo Baresi hit a great ball. 37 minutes into the match, DESTROYER's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Fausto Di Giambattista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute, Ferruccio Valerio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Zé Telo came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the DESTROYER fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zé Telo couldn't finish the play. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zé Telo to make the kick off. Fausto Di Giambattista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustín Saelices in the 53rd minute of play. In the 60th minute of the match, Cristian Sancho got a very nice opportunity to score, but Fausto Di Giambattista was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 60 minutes into the match, DESTROYER's goalkeeper Fausto Di Giambattista had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ferruccio Valerio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ciccio Alessandro hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 71 minutes, Fausto Di Giambattista successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Cristian Sancho put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Fausto Di Giambattista. Zé Telo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fausto Di Giambattista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 91 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Telo came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute, Cristian Sancho reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fausto Di Giambattista. The goal made the score 0-3.
