Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Axel Tasis started the match with the kick off. In the 9th minute, Aaron Alcocer made a precise shot to the right of Froilan Meder. Bolsodios's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Froilan Meder came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa. But to his dismay, Eliseo Noboa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Bolsodios was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardino Kusko didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Alexander Carballo got a free kick in the 25th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardino Kusko in the 33rd minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Honorio Hechter, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Eliseo Noboa hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. In the 45thth minute of the game Bernardino Kusko who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Benito Sanz was out of position in the 47 minute of play, and Bernardino Kusko capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bernardino Kusko really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bernardino Kusko was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Lautaro Puig managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Costa Rica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lautaro Puig was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Alan Moruga got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 58th minute Bernardino Kusko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 60 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Lautaro Puig. After a rather tough play, Bolsodios's Benicio Gerazan got a free kick in the 61st minute. The supporters of Bolsodios booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Axel Tasis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 65th match minute, Bolsodios was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conrado Restu to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Bolsodios's Froilan Meder got control of the ball when Lautaro Puig tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Honorio Hechter's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. After 71 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Lautaro Puig. Lautaro Puig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bernardino Kusko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa got a free kick in the 84th minute. Bernardino Kusko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Bolsodios booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Axel Tasis didn't get a good kick on the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardino Kusko came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Bolsodios's Edgard Bazkoare got a free kick in the 96th minute. The Bolsodios supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Costa Rica's performance. The match ended with a win for Costa Rica.
