The shot was a little too simple and Joaquin Gayoso could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Gisbert in the 44th minute of play forced Rapinantes F.C.'s goalkeeper Claudinei Lima to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 47 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Paschalis Stavrakos sped through Uruguay's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.
