In the 40th minute Juan Diego Tenorio suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. In the 43rd minute, Totyo Brandiyski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to FC Old Dogs United getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Momchil Denkin hit a great ball. In the 46th minute, Primitivo Escribano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Borimir Karadzhov was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jaime Pardo made a kick off. Borimir Karadzhov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Pardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Old Dogs United's Borimir Karadzhov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Pardo in the 56th minute of play. Borimir Karadzhov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Pardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Svetlozar Vladinov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Nores having to interfere. FC Old Dogs United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Totyo Brandiyski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jaime Pardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hector Covarrubias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Borimir Karadzhov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd minute Jaime Pardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Borimir Karadzhov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alan Campos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Borimir Karadzhov having to make a save. Borimir Karadzhov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jaime Pardo in the 86th minute. If Primitivo Escribano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, FC Old Dogs United's Borimir Karadzhov got control of the ball when Primitivo Escribano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marco Romero made in the 93rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Alan Campos however managed to control. Borimir Karadzhov was out of position in the 95 minute of play, and Jaime Pardo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jaime Pardo really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. The FC Old Dogs United supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Paraguay's performance. The match ended with a win for Paraguay.
