Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Clemente Ruy started the match with the kick off. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Indalecio Larramendi, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. After a rather tough play, Sabaneta FC's Bahiano Sanchez got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 20th minute, Valentín Carvallo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Edmundo Espiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bahiano Sanchez kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga tried to score from far away in the 35th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Moises Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edmundo Espiga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Edmundo Espiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 58 minutes into the match, Sabaneta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Zacarias Sana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edmundo Espiga scored 2-0 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zacarias Sana, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 65 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Villa. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clemente Ruy in the 66th minute of the match. Zacarias Sana didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edmundo Espiga went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Zacarias Sana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A sloppy throw-in by Maraman Bances in the 78th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Honduras's Luca Espinar. Sebastian Villa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 82nd match minute, Sabaneta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Indalecio Larramendi to maneuver through the defense. In the 85th match minute, Sabaneta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lesardo Gaztañondo to maneuver through the defense. 87 minutes into the match, Sabaneta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Villa came free, but Zacarias Sana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 89 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sabaneta FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edmundo Espiga was slow to take the kick. During this time Honduras's players had a chance to rest. Maximo Lomba's late challenge caught a Honduras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maximo Lomba helped the player get up and apologised. Maximo Lomba kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Luca Espinar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Honduras had played much better football throughout.
