Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) JIANGSU FC's Dylan Schneider started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5thth minute of the game Tomas Illescas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but JIANGSU FC's 郝誉雄 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 11 played minutes JIANGSU FC got a freekick which was hit by Cristobal Ixona. A collision led to JIANGSU FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. 傅霆洲 hit a great ball. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. 郝誉雄 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dylan Schneider in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dylan Schneider got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 20 minutes into the match, JIANGSU FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but 郝誉雄 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd match minute, JIANGSU FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raimundo do Nascimento to maneuver through the defense. JIANGSU FC's 郝誉雄 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 23rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dylan Schneider got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 郝誉雄 came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Venezuela's Tomas Illescas. But to his dismay, Tomas Illescas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The JIANGSU FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Venezuela were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. When 何笑震 came up free with the goalie in the 50th minute, the JIANGSU FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 何笑震 couldn't finish the play. After 53 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Mina. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 何笑震, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute.
