Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gianluca Scamacca took the kick off in the first half of the match. Stig Rødal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 10th minute of play forced KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's goalkeeper Gustaw Fafinski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gustaw Fafinski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 15th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gustaw Fafinski. KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 20th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustaw Fafinski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stig Rødal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gustaw Fafinski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Felix Montes advanced and headed the ball into goal, 0-2 in the 25th minute. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gianluca Scamacca in the 35th minute of play. KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's Gustaw Fafinski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 38th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Primitivo Andino during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 39 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Andino. In the 42nd minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustaw Fafinski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's Gianluca Scamacca in the 46th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Julio Vera was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Ecuador through an amazing save. 47 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Stig Rødal was slow to take the kick. During this time KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's corner Stig Rødal fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gianluca Scamacca went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 65 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gustaw Fafinski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Gustaw Fafinski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Agustín Saelices in the 68th minute. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stig Rødal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Birrell Watman charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Birrell Watman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's Birrell Watman got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Cristian Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gustaw Fafinski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 87thth minute of the game Gianluca Scamacca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stig Rødal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's Gianluca Scamacca. But to his dismay, Gianluca Scamacca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. After 95 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Arias. The Ecuador supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ecuador would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
