Laurence Sheppard might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over İlkan Akil. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Laurence Sheppard ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 45th minute Laurence Sheppard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but İlkan Akil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bulent Korkmaz hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After the first half MeZoPoTaMYa FK were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Brin Delaney made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Asaf Songurhan got free with İlkan Akil in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. İlkan Akil made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Asaf Songurhan sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of MeZoPoTaMYa FK booed when SOFiNiN KEDiSi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sakut Çelikel didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th minute of the match, Asaf Songurhan got a very nice opportunity to score, but İlkan Akil was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Celal Aktaşlıoğlu was slow to take the kick. During this time SOFiNiN KEDiSi's players had a chance to rest. SOFiNiN KEDiSi's Celal Aktaşlıoğlu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Şeref Özdeş in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. MeZoPoTaMYa FK's Laurence Sheppard got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jiang Yao Bin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Şeref Özdeş having to make a save. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind MeZoPoTaMYa FK's goalkeeper Şeref Özdeş, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 77th match minute, SOFiNiN KEDiSi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Jorrin to maneuver through the defense. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind MeZoPoTaMYa FK's goalkeeper Şeref Özdeş, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 81st minute SOFiNiN KEDiSi were awarded a corner. Celal Aktaşlıoğlu went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Celal Aktaşlıoğlu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Şeref Özdeş quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. İlkan Akil was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Brin Delaney showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 84 minute of play. Laurence Sheppard took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised İlkan Akil. İlkan Akil dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. 91 minutes into the match, SOFiNiN KEDiSi's goal looked a bit too open when Brin Delaney came free, but İlkan Akil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
