Lv Yu was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Acatar's players had a chance to rest. Thanks to some nice moves Lautaro Mancebo could shoot a difficult shot in the 33rd minute, which Diamantino Lobo however easily saved by the left post. After 34 minutes FC Acatar's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudiu Fecioru in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 46th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Luque to maneuver through the defense. 48 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mexico's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lv Yu was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Acatar's players had a chance to rest. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joel Gaona to strike the kick off in the second half. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudiu Fecioru, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 55th minute of play forced FC Acatar's goalkeeper Diamantino Lobo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Herbert Hök got free with Dante Lacasa in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Andrei Alexandrescu took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Dante Lacasa to make any attempt to save it. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andrei Alexandrescu in the 70th minute. After 73 played minutes FC Acatar got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Doinaș. After some careless play in the FC Acatar defense, Alberto Tafalla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Diamantino Lobo. The FC Acatar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Diamantino Lobo should have stopped the shot. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Diamantino Lobo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Herbert Hök fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Lacasa having to interfere. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudiu Fecioru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 91 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andrei Alexandrescu. 95 minutes into the match, FC Acatar's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Diamantino Lobo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
