Luís Gustavo Corrêa kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. FC Shed End's Stig-Ove Hedkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustín Saelices in the 12th minute of play. The supporters of Ecuador booed when FC Shed End was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Axelsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stig-Ove Hedkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aykutalp Ezgü in the 18th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonardo Axelsson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 23rd minute of play forced FC Shed End's goalkeeper Stig-Ove Hedkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stig-Ove Hedkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aykutalp Ezgü recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 35 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stig-Ove Hedkvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aykutalp Ezgü in the 37th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stig-Ove Hedkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st minute Daniel Zorita suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. Stig-Ove Hedkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aykutalp Ezgü to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, FC Shed End's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cristian Sancho fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aykutalp Ezgü in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 0-2 became the score in the 54th minute when Cristian Sancho elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. An unexpected shot in the 58th minute by Luz Palacio got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. FC Shed End made a substitution. Nigg Erek replaced Gustav Wållander. FC Shed End's Luka Langoni was substituted for Leonardo Axelsson. In the 67th minute FC Shed End were awarded a corner. Rikard Wahlnäs went to the cornerflag to take it. Stig-Ove Hedkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. The corner led Ecuador's Felix Montenegro to fire away a dangerous shot which Stig-Ove Hedkvist despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Silvestre Gar came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st match minute, FC Shed End was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fulgencio Lucado to maneuver through the defense. Luz Palacio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stig-Ove Hedkvist having to interfere. In the 84thth minute of the game Silvestre Gar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 91 played minutes FC Shed End got a freekick which was hit by Luka Langoni. Cristian Sancho hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
