Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuele Capaldo in the 10th minute of play. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Colombia from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Colombia getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Kevin Mastache hit a great ball. After 19 minutes Colombia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Esben Mansachs who took care of the corner kick. Augusto Viviano made a great header on A.c Tre dei Frati's corner, it was just that Colombia's Pedro Manzanares managed to reach the ball for a save. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esben Mansachs, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Esben Mansachs came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emanuele Capaldo in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Manzanares saved Colombia from getting behind. A.c Tre dei Frati's Augusto Viviano got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Esben Mansachs got free with Pedro Manzanares in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by A.c Tre dei Frati's Esben Mansachs. But to his dismay, Esben Mansachs quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Esben Mansachs made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Colombia's Pascual Carballar got a free kick in the 65th minute. Colombia made a substitution. The audience was convinced that Ignacio Mastache's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pico Bădila was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Luis Cazalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pico Bădila having to interfere. When Abram Secada came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Colombia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abram Secada couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, A.c Tre dei Frati's Pico Bădila got control of the ball when Abram Secada tried to sneak it across the goal line. Abram Secada could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Pico Bădila made a huge save. 90 minutes into the game, Colombia's Ignacio Mastache nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pico Bădila made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Ignacio Mastache received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Pico Bădila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Colombia eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
