Emmanuel Reyes made in the 10th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Milagros Fraga. Emil Gabor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 12th minute of the match. In the 18th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Gabor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in La Parca FC's zone, Eliseo Mina stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emil Gabor came out of the goal and Eliseo Mina tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Julian Murillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emil Gabor was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. In the 25th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Gabor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute of the match Peru got a corner. La Parca FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luz Tejedor ran over to the corner to take the kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Murillo in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emil Gabor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Emil Gabor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luz Tejedor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emil Gabor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luz Tejedor in the 35th minute of play. Julian Murillo took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emil Gabor. Emil Gabor dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Dawid Cizeski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. Emmanuel Reyes hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dawid Cizeski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Emil Gabor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 54th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dawid Cizeski in the 61st minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Julian Murillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peru's supporters rose to their feet, but Julian Murillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emil Gabor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. La Parca FC made a substitution. Kamilo Nero replaced Dawid Cizeski. La Parca FC's Thodoris Charalambakis was substituted for Chris Frieters. In the 73rd match minute, La Parca FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulises Farias to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of La Parca FC booed when Peru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alonso Berganza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rolando Noboa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Gallo in the 96th minute of play forced La Parca FC's goalkeeper Emil Gabor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
