An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Novaes in the 37th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernardo Novaes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tomáš Houdek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Bernardo Novaes took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Rolando Noboa to make any attempt to save it. Tomáš Houdek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Murillo got free with Tomáš Houdek in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tomáš Houdek made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Julian Murillo sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Murillo in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomáš Houdek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 77th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomáš Houdek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lex Academy's Tomáš Houdek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Lex Academy from getting a goal against them. Eliseo Mina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomáš Houdek having to interfere. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Peru were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Lex Academy to leave the ground with a draw.
