Peru's attentive Eliseo Mina managed to snatch the ball when Velasco Bara made a throw-in in the 5th minute of the game. Peru's Eliseo Mina managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Velasco Bara in the 9 minute of the game. Velasco Bara made in the 13th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Emanuele Capaldo. Peru's Julian Murillo got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pico Bădila made an important save on a dangerous shot by Julian Murillo in the 24th minute. 26 minutes into the match, A.c Tre dei Frati's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Pico Bădila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 28 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for A.c Tre dei Frati! Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esben Mansachs in the 32nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esben Mansachs in the 32nd minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Esben Mansachs's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rolando Noboa was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Pico Bădila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 35th minute of play. In the 36th minute Peru were awarded a corner. Luz Tejedor went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Milagros Fraga almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but A.c Tre dei Frati's Pico Bădila did a great save. 42 minutes into the match, Esben Mansachs had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Esben Mansachs was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Esben Mansachs made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, A.c Tre dei Frati's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Pico Bădila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peru's Julian Murillo got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The throw-in from Velasco Bara in the 59th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. A collision led to A.c Tre dei Frati getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Velasco Bara hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in A.c Tre dei Frati's zone, Eliseo Mina stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pico Bădila came out of the goal and Eliseo Mina tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A.c Tre dei Frati's Pico Bădila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 64th minute of play. In the 65th minute of the match Peru got a corner. A.c Tre dei Frati's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luz Tejedor ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Emmanuel Reyes managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 69th minute, Julian Murillo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Peru fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Julian Murillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 83 minutes of play, Peru's Julian Murillo made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pico Bădila was left in no man's land by his defense there! Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. A.c Tre dei Frati's Pico Bădila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Gallo in the 89th minute of play. When Emanuele Capaldo came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the A.c Tre dei Frati fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuele Capaldo couldn't finish the play. After having played for 93 minutes, Milagros Fraga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Milagros Fraga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Peru fully deserved thier win.
