After 2 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Alex Cambeiro. If Abraham Alguacil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Tomas Berganza came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Panama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Berganza couldn't finish the play. With 9 minutes on the clock, Aaron Barrios commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 8 minutes into the game, one of Panama:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 10 minutes into the game, Luiz Guilherme de Almeida cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Marcos Cotilla was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marcos Cotilla made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Reşat Irgatbaşı sent off a good shot on target. Tomas Berganza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Denizhan Onatkan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Dylan Sarmiento hit a great ball. Panama's Marcos Cotilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Panama from getting a goal against them. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrei Zbârnea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 42 minutes into the match, Andrei Zbârnea had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andrei Zbârnea was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. The supporters of sirince booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dylan Sarmiento didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reşat Irgatbaşı, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 55 played minutes sirince got a freekick which was hit by Damian Domala. Denizhan Onatkan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 56th minute of the match. sirince's Denizhan Onatkan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 59th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reşat Irgatbaşı in the 61st minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Berganza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luiz Guilherme de Almeida scored 3-2 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcos Cotilla, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrei Zbârnea in the 80th minute of play. In the 80th minute Andrei Zbârnea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 84 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Abraham Alguacil. In the 86th match minute, sirince was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arslan Vacip to maneuver through the defense. In the 91st minute Reşat Irgatbaşı shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th minute, Felipe Ros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrei Zbârnea, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Panama players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for sirince.
