Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Blažej Blazejowski started the match with the kick off. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Blažej Blazejowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee ignored Ecuador's protests and gave Juan Sebastián Puig a yellow card for diving instead. In the 9th match minute Blažej Blazejowski ran free in the middle of the field and shot a long shot which scored behind a totally surprised Julio Vera. 1-0. Ritchie Stansfield showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 13th minute of the match. Blažej Blazejowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Damazy Tomaszewski in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 26th minute, one of Ecuador:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ecuador. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ritchie Stansfield having to interfere. Real Ayuntamiento CF's Ritchie Stansfield played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th minute of the match, Blažej Blazejowski tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Julio Vera saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 36th minute of the match Real Ayuntamiento CF got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Blažej Blazejowski ran over to the corner to take the kick. Blažej Blazejowski made a great header on Real Ayuntamiento CF's corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Cucao, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 41 minutes, Dariusz Szpakowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Ayuntamiento CF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dariusz Szpakowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The audience was convinced that Blažej Blazejowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blažej Blazejowski in the 61st minute of the match. 64 minutes into the game, Pedro Cucao cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 72nd minute Dariusz Szpakowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Real Ayuntamiento CF's Faustino Frichoso was substituted for Blažej Blazejowski. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faustino Frichoso in the 85th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Cristian Sancho slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ritchie Stansfield. That made the score 4-1 after 86 minutes of play. Agustín Saelices could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Ritchie Stansfield made a huge save. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faustino Frichoso in the 91st minute of the match. In the 93rd minute Damazy Tomaszewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Faustino Frichoso's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. Real Ayuntamiento CF were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Ecuador for a fine match.
