In the 8th minute Isidoro Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fredrik Bennet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fredrik Bennet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isidoro Sarmiento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fredrik Bennet having to interfere. Tomas Berganza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Fredrik Bennet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 17th minute of play forced Samurai's goalkeeper Fredrik Bennet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Berganza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fredrik Bennet having to interfere. In the 32nd match minute, Samurai was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roger Kalfhage to maneuver through the defense. Fredrik Bennet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. If Isidoro Sarmiento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomas Berganza scored 1-1 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fredrik Bennet, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mattias Smefeldt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tomas Berganza received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fredrik Bennet came out and tried to block the shot, but Tomas Berganza slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 57th minute. Miguel Miralles could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Fredrik Bennet made a huge save. Isidoro Sarmiento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th minute, Tomas Berganza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mattias Smefeldt's late challenge caught a Panama's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mattias Smefeldt helped the player get up and apologised. After 66 played minutes Samurai got a freekick which was hit by Mattias Smefeldt. Fredrik Bennet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Miralles in the 68th minute of play. If Tomas Berganza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fredrik Bennet made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Isidoro Sarmiento sent off a good shot on target. Fredrik Bennet came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento. But to his dismay, Isidoro Sarmiento quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. A collision led to Samurai getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Michael Haglund hit a great ball. In the 86th minute, Abraham Alguacil got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 87th minute, Tomas Berganza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 89th minute, Isidoro Sarmiento got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Panama played a much better game than Samurai and deserved their victory. The Samurai players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
