Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Axel Tasis kicked off to start the match. Hernan Lazcano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benito Sanz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. In the 10th minute Hernan Lazcano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 11 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Noboa. In the last second Benito Sanz throw himself and got hold of the ball when Elpidio Malvin in the 25thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Aaron Alcocer got a free kick in the 31st minute. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Inter de Monte Grande fc's Elpidio Malvin. But to his dismay, Elpidio Malvin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Lautaro Puig hit a great ball. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elpidio Malvin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Elpidio Malvin made the kick off in the second half. When Luis Dalmai fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Inter de Monte Grande fc's protests and gave Luis Dalmai a yellow card for diving instead. In the 56th minute, Inter de Monte Grande fc's Marcelino Ireno seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Marcelino Ireno the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Inter de Monte Grande fc protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Marcelino Ireno had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 56 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Inter de Monte Grande fc! Leon Avellaneda had in the 59thth minute some difficulties stopping Axel Tasis's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 1-1 came in the 59th minute when Axel Tasis all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Leon Avellaneda. Leon Avellaneda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Puig in the 72nd minute. Hernan Lazcano scored 2-1 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hernan Lazcano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gregorio Bidun took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Inter de Monte Grande fc's Adrian Colas was substituted for Luis Dalmai. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Inter de Monte Grande fc fully deserved thier win.
