Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wladyslaw Rzeszutek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Michel Platini kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 3-1 in the 31 minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. In the 58thth minute of the game Mister Torpeda who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jose Correa's late challenge caught a Rembertów DJs's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jose Correa helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Wladyslaw Rzeszutek made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Michel Platini's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wieslaw Bielatowicz in the 67th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Wieslaw Bielatowicz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wieslaw Bielatowicz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Wladyslaw Rzeszutek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by D.J. Žaba in the 75th minute of play. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by D.J. Bambini-Adam in the 82nd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rembertów DJs's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
