Eros Kawuri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 2nd minute of the match. Eros Kawuri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 13th minute of play. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 24th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eros Kawuri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Palestine Free Land's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eros Kawuri came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Daniel Zorita, 27 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 29th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eros Kawuri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lexi Fachrudin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 33rd minute of the match, Lexi Fachrudin tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Julio Vera saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Daniel Zorita's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Eros Kawuri firmly grabbed it by the left post. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 54th minute, which Eros Kawuri however easily saved by the left post. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by Palestine Free Land's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Palestine Free Land's goalie and right to Felix Montenegro. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Palestine Free Land's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Palestine Free Land's Setyo Sarwono was substituted for Syukron Kuncoro. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hans Ruchiyat hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. After having played for 64 minutes, Gerard Paine managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palestine Free Land's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerard Paine was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerard Paine, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Eros Kawuri in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eros Kawuri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Palestine Free Land made a substitution. Nandang Tuheteru replaced Randy Suryadinata. Agustín Saelices's shot straight on target was not completely harmless.
