Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Joko Waluyo made the kick off and thus started the match. The supporters of Peru booed when Original Sabahan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mulyana Sembiring didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Original Sabahan's goalkeeper Egil Kilberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Julian Murillo came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Peru fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julian Murillo couldn't finish the play. Egil Kilberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 10th minute, Original Sabahan's Mulyana Sembiring seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Mulyana Sembiring the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Original Sabahan protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Mulyana Sembiring had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 10th minute, one of Original Sabahan:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Original Sabahan. The referee gave Peru a penalty, 12 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Luz Tejedor, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Original Sabahan's Egil Kilberg. 0-1. 17 minutes into the match, Original Sabahan's goal looked a bit too open when Milagros Fraga came free, but Egil Kilberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jojo Guci could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Original Sabahan's Yao Jian Lei got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 25th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egil Kilberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Original Sabahan's zone, Julian Murillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Egil Kilberg came out of the goal and Julian Murillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dewa Kooth charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dewa Kooth the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Original Sabahan getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Dewa Kooth hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luz Tejedor in the 33rd minute of play forced Original Sabahan's goalkeeper Egil Kilberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the game, Peru's Luz Tejedor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Egil Kilberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 36th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egil Kilberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 40 played minutes Original Sabahan got a freekick which was hit by Fadhly Haryanto-Ie. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Egil Kilberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. A collision led to Peru getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Joaquin Prats hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julian Murillo was the one to do the kick off. Jojo Guci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Noboa having to interfere. In the 57th match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julian Murillo to maneuver through the defense. Original Sabahan's Cristoforo Strazzabosco was substituted for Jojo Guci. Julian Murillo hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. In the 61st minute, Julian Murillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Egil Kilberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Julian Murillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peru's supporters rose to their feet, but Julian Murillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Egil Kilberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 64 played minutes Original Sabahan got a freekick which was hit by Aristide Mirciulescu. 66 minutes into the match, Original Sabahan's goalkeeper Egil Kilberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Murillo. Original Sabahan's Egil Kilberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 75th minute of play. Mateusz Kubica hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. Mateusz Kubica kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. 85 minutes into the match, Peru's Rafael Gallo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Egil Kilberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Egil Kilberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Tenorio in the 90th minute of play.
