The audience thought a goal was coming when Joko Waluyo got free with Marco Day in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Original Sabahan's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Aristide Mirciulescu in the 22nd minute. After a rather tough play, Original Sabahan's Jojo Guci got a free kick in the 22nd minute. The audience was convinced that Cassius Byrne's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Egil Kilberg was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. In the 28thth minute of the game Joko Waluyo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but USA's Marco Day was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 38 minutes USA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Aristide Mirciulescu who took care of the corner kick. In the 40th match minute, Original Sabahan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dewa Kooth to maneuver through the defense. Original Sabahan made a substitution. Cristoforo Strazzabosco replaced Jojo Guci. Original Sabahan's Egil Kilberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 63rd minute of play. In the 64th minute Joko Waluyo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cassius Byrne could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Egil Kilberg made a huge save. USA's Sam Campbell got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 77 minutes into the match, USA's Sam Campbell sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Egil Kilberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. USA made a substitution. Marco Baker replaced Edward Mcdonald. Yahya Kılıçaslan might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marco Day. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Yahya Kılıçaslan ran back to his position shaking his head. 84 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Yahya Kılıçaslan came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Egil Kilberg was a little too slow when Sam Campbell got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 0-4. Egil Kilberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Khalid Parry in the 88th minute of the match. The supporters of USA booed when Original Sabahan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dewa Kooth didn't get a good kick on the ball. Egil Kilberg was out of position in the 94 minute of play, and Khalid Parry capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Khalid Parry really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. When the final whistle sounded USA left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Original Sabahan.
