An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Seco in the 18th minute of play forced Wool United's goalkeeper 杜烨康 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute Uruguay were awarded a corner. Jaime Cazalla went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 21st minute of the match, 傅鹏适 got a very nice opportunity to score, but Joaquin Gayoso was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 傅鹏适 placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! 杜烨康 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximiliano Escribano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Wool United's 傅鹏适. But to his dismay, 傅鹏适 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 39th minute, 傅鹏适 made a precise shot to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, 傅鹏适 took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Joaquin Gayoso to make any attempt to save it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Francisco Seco to make the kick off. A collision led to Wool United getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. 武松默 hit a great ball. Jaime Cazalla kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Uruguay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wool United the free kick. Wool United's 周桦森 was substituted for 孙强庭. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Jaime Cazalla got a free kick in the 92nd minute. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Wool United's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
