Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Gottlieb Hammer started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Balus Treter's Karsten Zielinski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 5th minute of play. Karsten Zielinski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luis Andino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karsten Zielinski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. In the 11thth minute of the game Cristian Sancho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Balus Treter's Karsten Zielinski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gottlieb Hammer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Zorita in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karsten Zielinski saved Balus Treter from getting behind. Gottlieb Hammer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Luis Andino came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Andino couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gottlieb Hammer got free with Julio Vera in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Gottlieb Hammer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gottlieb Hammer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. 32 minutes into the match, Balus Treter's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Karsten Zielinski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 36th minute of play forced Balus Treter's goalkeeper Karsten Zielinski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 42 played minutes Balus Treter got a freekick which was hit by Vilhelm Trulsson. In the 45th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karsten Zielinski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 47 played minutes Balus Treter got a freekick which was hit by Vilhelm Trulsson. In the 49th minute Agustín Saelices shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karsten Zielinski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Daniel Zoritas short, quick shot in the 57thth minute got Karsten Zielinski to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gottlieb Hammer's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Daniel Zorita in the 61stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Karsten Zielinski, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 63rd minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gottlieb Hammer, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Karsten Zielinski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 74 minutes Balus Treter's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Balus Treter's goalie and right to Felix Montes. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Balus Treter's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. A hard shot 77 in the game by Daniel Zorita from a close distance when the talented Karsten Zielinski managed to make a qualified save. Balus Treter's players were relieved. Gottlieb Hammer might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gottlieb Hammer ran back to his position shaking his head. 89 minutes into the match, Balus Treter's goalkeeper Karsten Zielinski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karsten Zielinski having to interfere. A collision led to Balus Treter getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Fabio Bischoff hit a great ball. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karsten Zielinski having to interfere. After 97 played minutes Balus Treter got a freekick which was hit by Vilhelm Trulsson. After recieving a nice pass, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita tried to score from far away in the 98th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Ecuador were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
