Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Battal Cüneyt Oksu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 9thth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Ferrant when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 11 played minutes Valar morghulis got a freekick which was hit by Gökay Ömür. Tomas Illescas was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 11th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Battal Cüneyt Oksu got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A well placed Battal Cüneyt Oksu short distance shot in the 16th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. The crowd rose to their feet as Valar morghulis's Battal Cüneyt Oksu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 2-0 after 27 minutes of play. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Battal Cüneyt Oksu sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Valar morghulis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sabahattin Zati didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot 33 in the game by Battal Cüneyt Oksu from a close distance when the talented Jonathan Ferrant managed to make a qualified save. Venezuela's players were relieved. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Valar morghulis's Battal Cüneyt Oksu shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-0 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 40th minute of the match, Battal Cüneyt Oksu got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jonathan Ferrant was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Battal Cüneyt Oksu in the 45th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 69th minute of the match Valar morghulis got a corner. Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gökay Ömür ran over to the corner to take the kick. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Battal Cüneyt Oksu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 78 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Nedim Ertaş came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
