Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Perivaldo Eger got the match started through his kick off. With a little luck, Colombia's Pedro Manzanares got control of the ball when Montrel Perpiñán tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 15 minutes of play, Colombia's Axel Montenegro made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mike Zoetmulder was left in no man's land by his defense there! De Pelgrims's Mike Zoetmulder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 23rd minute of play. Pedro Manzanares made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Mathias de Ruijter sent off a good shot on target. Pedro Manzanares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Perivaldo Eger went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. 31 minutes into the match, Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Perivaldo Eger. 32 minutes into the match, De Pelgrims's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Sarmiento came free, but Mike Zoetmulder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mike Zoetmulder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santino Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Perivaldo Eger really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. A collision led to De Pelgrims getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Fu Peng Feng hit a great ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abram Sarmiento was the one to do the kick off. Zé Pedro Figueiredo charged in rather forcefully in the 50th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zé Pedro Figueiredo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Zé Pedro Figueiredo hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. 53 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Perivaldo Eger came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mike Zoetmulder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 57th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Perivaldo Eger in the 58th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mathias de Ruijter in the 62nd minute of play. After 63 played minutes Abram Sarmiento rounded De Pelgrims's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-2. In the 66th minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mike Zoetmulder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. A sloppy throw-in by Zé Pedro Figueiredo in the 68th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Colombia's Kevin Mastache. In the 71st minute Ignacio Mastache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mike Zoetmulder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Montrel Perpiñán came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Huub Gerrits fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored De Pelgrims's protests and gave Huub Gerrits a yellow card for diving instead. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Huub Gerrits, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 84th minute Ignacio Mastache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mike Zoetmulder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Colombia defense, Mathias de Ruijter kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. The Colombia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Manzanares should have stopped the shot. In the 89thth minute of the game Ignacio Mastache who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but De Pelgrims's Mike Zoetmulder was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Perivaldo Eger had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Perivaldo Eger was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-3. The supporters of Colombia booed when De Pelgrims was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Pedro Figueiredo didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Mastache in the 95th minute of play forced De Pelgrims's goalkeeper Mike Zoetmulder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. De Pelgrims's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
