Urtsín Aceiton didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 6th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henry Tucknott saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 7th match minute, General Velásquez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Vicente Squella to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th minute, General Velásquez's Clemente Tuñon dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 24th minute, Patricio Costa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Henry Tucknott was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 27thth minute of the game Clemente Tuñon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 35th minute, Martin Švácha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. General Velásquez's Jorge Vicente Squella got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant was out of position in the 44 minute of play, and Jorge Vicente Squella capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jorge Vicente Squella really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jorge Vicente Squella to strike the kick off in the second half. Clemente Tuñon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Jorge Vicente Squella put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. 63 minutes into the match, Clemente Tuñon notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jorge Vicente Squella in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jorge Vicente Squella in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. In the 71st minute, Tomas Illescas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jorge Vicente Squella in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jorge Vicente Squella struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for General Velásquez. General Velásquez's Clemente Tuñon got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. General Velásquez fully deserved thier win.
