After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Antonio Arias got a free kick in the 3rd minute. 曾剑延 hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Zorita in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Valentin Wæversø prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentin Wæversø having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 9th minute of play forced 无锡联队's goalkeeper Valentin Wæversø to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valentin Wæversø showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 11th minute of the match. Genaro Remicio's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 13thth minute, Julio Vera skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A collision led to 无锡联队 getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. 曾剑延 hit a great ball. Genaro Remicio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Dinei Cavalcante kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Genaro Remicio put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Julio Vera. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentin Wæversø having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Montenegro in the 28th minute of play forced 无锡联队's goalkeeper Valentin Wæversø to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 34 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when 马正益 came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Valentin Wæversø tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. Valentin Wæversø took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

An unexpectedly hard shot by 高谦岚 in the 52nd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of 无锡联队 booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agustín Saelices didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Genaro Remicio in the 57th minute of play. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Genaro Remicio in the 57th minute of play. Dinei Cavalcante's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dinei Cavalcante helped the player get up and apologised. When the match had been going on for 59 minutes, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Valentin Wæversø. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Genaro Remicio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Genaro Remicio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. After 72nd play minutes Genaro Remicio shot 3-1, a short shot which went by Julio Vera and just under the crossbar into goal. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 高谦岚, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 88th minute, which Valentin Wæversø however easily saved by the left post. Valentin Wæversø made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Luis Andino sent off a good shot on target. Aare Lõhmus charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aare Lõhmus the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Aare Lõhmus kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. 无锡联队 made a substitution. 赵南珂 replaced Genaro Remicio. In the 93rd match minute, 无锡联队 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aare Lõhmus to maneuver through the defense. Valentin Wæversø was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Felix Montenegro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-2 in the 95 minute of play. 马正益 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. 无锡联队 had won after a very even match.
