In the 5th match minute, FC ZARZECZE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Cieslak to maneuver through the defense. In the 8th minute Isidoro Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mirek Hulk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Patrick Crippa got free with Marcos Cotilla in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Isidoro Sarmiento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bogdan Udrişte in the 20th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bogdan Udrişte in the 29th minute of play. Mirek Hulk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Miralles, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. The throw-in from Jose Carita in the 33rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FC ZARZECZE's Themistoklis Gounaris. In the 35th minute, Dylan Sarmiento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrick Crippa in the 37th minute of play. After 38 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Abraham Alguacil. Panama's defense didn't have a chance, in the 40th minute, when Themistoklis Gounaris scored to the left of an out of position Marcos Cotilla, making the score, 2-0. In the 42nd minute of the match, Bogdan Udrişte tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Marcos Cotilla saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bogdan Udrişte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 51st minute, Tomas Berganza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dylan Sarmiento hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match.
