Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) FC Žalia Giria's Saúl Gentiletti started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Daniel Zorita might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vilmantas Matulas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head. 11 minutes into the match, FC Žalia Giria's Saúl Gentiletti sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 12 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Avram Lupoaia was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Žalia Giria's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Dovydas Varnas managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vilmantas Matulas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Cristian Sancho scored 0-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vilmantas Matulas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Juan Sebastián Puig was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 23 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ecuador fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 22nd minute. Penalty! In the 28th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vilmantas Matulas was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. FC Žalia Giria's Vilmantas Matulas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 33rd minute of play. FC Žalia Giria's Jack Grealish was substituted for Vytautas Petkus. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after FC Žalia Giria's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. In the 36th minute, Antonio Arias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Žalia Giria's goalkeeper Vilmantas Matulas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 37th minute, Luis Andino made a precise shot to the right of Vilmantas Matulas. FC Žalia Giria's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Saúl Gentiletti could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saúl Gentiletti in the 45th minute of play.

The wind increased when Cristian Sancho made the kick off in the second half. Vilmantas Matulas made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Felix Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 54 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Camilo Gisbert got a free kick in the 55th minute. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Žalia Giria's Saúl Gentiletti. But to his dismay, Saúl Gentiletti quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Vilmantas Matulas made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Felix Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Ecuador booed when FC Žalia Giria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dovydas Varnas didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Žalia Giria's Augustinas Baltramaitis was substituted for Saúl Gentiletti. After 75 played minutes FC Žalia Giria got a freekick which was hit by Dovydas Varnas. Agustín Saelices sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 87 minutes into the game, Felix Montenegro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-5. Vilmantas Matulas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Erikas Kiškunas kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match.
