Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Daniel Zorita made the kick off which started today's match. After 2 played minutes FC Žalia Giria got a freekick which was hit by Vytautas Petkus. In the 6th match minute, FC Žalia Giria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Astijus Orbakas to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, FC Žalia Giria's Saúl Gentiletti got a free kick in the 8th minute. Erikas Kiškunas hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Saúl Gentiletti's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Saúl Gentiletti dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Julio Vera, 1-0. 23 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Žalia Giria's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Vilmantas Matulas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vilmantas Matulas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vilmantas Matulas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the FC Žalia Giria defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vilmantas Matulas. The FC Žalia Giria fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vilmantas Matulas should have stopped the shot. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Ecuador were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Saúl Gentiletti was the one to do the kick off. Avram Lupoaia hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. The supporters of Ecuador booed when FC Žalia Giria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Avram Lupoaia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vilmantas Matulas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 73rd minute. With his leg Vilmantas Matulas managed to avoid a goal in the 74thth minute, when Ecuador's Cristian Sancho fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The crowd rose to their feet as Felix Montenegro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Vilmantas Matulas. That made the score 1-4 in the 79 minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Ramūnas Lipskis came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Ecuador booed when FC Žalia Giria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Algitas Kimbartas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vilmantas Matulas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Felix Montenegro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vilmantas Matulas came out and tried to block the shot, but Felix Montenegro slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 94th minute. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
