In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 31st minute, Apocalípticos & Caóticos's Herbert Henskens ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rolando Noboa. Erasmo Loi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 46th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After having played for 90 minutes, Patricio Emmanuel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Apocalípticos & Caóticos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patricio Emmanuel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Antonio Tenorio hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
