Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4thth minute of the game Tomas Illescas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Maraponga FAC's Mané Andrade was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jose Correa charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jose Correa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 5th minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Xacintu Magadan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Xacintu Magadan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Xacintu Magadan in the 17th minute. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mané Andrade read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Jimmy Lind came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Darren Verlet in the 25th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 31st minute Jimmy Lind shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Xacintu Magadan went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Jimmy Lind received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darren Verlet in the 40th minute of play. 43 minutes into the game, Maraponga FAC's Xacintu Magadan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0.

The wind increased when Xacintu Magadan made the kick off in the second half. Darren Verlet took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Darren Verlet's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Xacintu Magadan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 62 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jimmy Lind who took care of the corner kick. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Darren Verlet, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Maraponga FAC's Darren Verlet. But to his dismay, Darren Verlet quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Mané Andrade made a huge save. Cristiano Osmundsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Maraponga FAC's zone, Patricio Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mané Andrade came out of the goal and Patricio Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jimmy Lind in the 87th minute of the match. Darren Verlet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. In the 95th minute Xacintu Magadan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xacintu Magadan in the 96th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
