Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Xacintu Magadan took the kick off in the first half of the match. Jimmy Lind received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mané Andrade having to interfere. Maraponga FAC's Mané Andrade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 12th minute of play. A collision led to Maraponga FAC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Antal Szaniszló hit a great ball. Mané Andrade showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. If Darren Verlet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 20th minute of play forced Maraponga FAC's goalkeeper Mané Andrade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 23 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 28 minutes into the match, Maraponga FAC's goal looked a bit too open when Agustín Saelices came free, but Mané Andrade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maraponga FAC's Mané Andrade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 29th minute of play. Daniel Zorita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mané Andrade having to make a save. Xacintu Magadan in the 36thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Julio Vera, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Mané Andrade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Antal Szaniszló fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maraponga FAC's protests and gave Antal Szaniszló a yellow card for diving instead. In the 46th minute, Antal Szaniszló hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Maraponga FAC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 53rd minute, when Cristian Sancho scored to the left of an out of position Mané Andrade, making the score, 0-1. Mané Andrade made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Maraponga FAC's Jimmy Lind got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 59th minute, Felix Montenegro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mané Andrade. The goal made the score 0-2. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Antonio Arias lost his temper 64 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ecuador fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 63rd minute. Penalty! A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Cristian Sancho hit a great ball. In the 73rd minute, Darren Verlet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 81stth minute of the game Xacintu Magadan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darren Verlet in the 83rd minute of play. Maraponga FAC's Mané Andrade proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Maraponga FAC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Maraponga FAC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristiano Osmundsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darren Verlet in the 93rd minute of play.
