Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 8th minute of play forced FFC Merainies 03's goalkeeper Bertus Waldijk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Bertus Waldijk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bertus Waldijk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 18th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Zorita in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bertus Waldijk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 20 minutes, Daniel Zorita made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. FFC Merainies 03's Bertus Waldijk tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Bertus Waldijk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Daniel Zorita scored 0-2 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bertus Waldijk, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. FFC Merainies 03's Bertus Waldijk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 38th minute of play. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bertus Waldijk having to interfere. Gerrie Höhenstein's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gerrie Höhenstein helped the player get up and apologised. Gerrie Höhenstein kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Luis Andino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Ecuador booed when FFC Merainies 03 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. René van Hintum didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bertus Waldijk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bertus Waldijk was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Koos de Kort to strike the kick off in the second half. FFC Merainies 03's defense didn't have a chance, in the 54th minute, when Cristian Sancho scored to the left of an out of position Bertus Waldijk, making the score, 0-5. In the 58th minute, Luis Andino reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bertus Waldijk. The goal made the score 0-6. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Bertus Waldijk in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the FFC Merainies 03 defense, Luis Andino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bertus Waldijk. The FFC Merainies 03 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bertus Waldijk should have stopped the shot. A collision led to FFC Merainies 03 getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Gerrie Höhenstein hit a great ball. When Luis Andino came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Andino couldn't finish the play. 74 minutes into the match, FFC Merainies 03's goalkeeper Bertus Waldijk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. A well done corner resulted in Felix Montes drilling the ball in to score 0-8 behind FFC Merainies 03's goalkeeper. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Bertus Waldijk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, Gerrie Höhenstein hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Felix Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Bertus Waldijk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. René van Hintum hit a great ball. Bertus Waldijk didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-9 was the resulting score. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FFC Merainies 03.
