Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Adil Albrecht made the kick off which started today's match. Joaquin Gayoso made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Jean-Philippe Contal sent off a good shot on target. Joaquin Gayoso acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 10th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Pierre-Louis Berrier. Pierre-Louis Berrier got in the 10th minute the ball and tried a long shot which scored to the left of Joaquin Gayoso and thus it was 1-1. When Jean-Philippe Contal came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Cellule fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jean-Philippe Contal couldn't finish the play. Serge Vielle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 24 minutes of play, Uruguay's Maximiliano Escribano made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jean-Charles Sauvaget was left in no man's land by his defense there! With his leg Joaquin Gayoso managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when Cellule's Serge Vielle fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adil Albrecht in the 35th minute of the match. In the 38th minute, David Rousselet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 40 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Adil Albrecht came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Serge Vielle could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Joaquin Gayoso made a huge save. Kevin Carballal kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. With his leg Joaquin Gayoso managed to avoid a goal in the 45thth minute, when Cellule's Serge Vielle fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 48th minute Camilo Franco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean-Charles Sauvaget saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Uruguay's Arturo Carvallo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Marin Angibaud, made in the 52nd minute of the game. Jean-Charles Sauvaget made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Maximiliano Escribano sent off a good shot on target. Jean-Charles Sauvaget took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximiliano Escribano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Francisco Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jean-Charles Sauvaget showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisco Seco got free with Jean-Charles Sauvaget in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jean-Charles Sauvaget made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 85th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 88th minute of play forced Cellule's goalkeeper Jean-Charles Sauvaget to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marin Angibaud during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 90th match minute, Cellule was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marin Angibaud to maneuver through the defense. After 91 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Gisbert. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
