Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. KP Chemik Police's Robert Dziedziak pulled a muscle in his back after 4 minutes and couldn't finish the game. KP Chemik Police made a substitution. Witalis Dziedelonis replaced Robert Dziedziak. After 5 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montes. Felix Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Roger Federer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roger Federer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustín Saelices, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Rafal Huratiak tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 19th minute of the match KP Chemik Police got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Napoleon Marchlewicz ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Napoleon Marchlewicz got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luis Andino in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roger Federer saved KP Chemik Police from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Augustyniak in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roger Federer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 36 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rafal Huratiak. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedykt Zurawski in the 38th minute of play. After some careless play in the KP Chemik Police defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roger Federer. The KP Chemik Police fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roger Federer should have stopped the shot. After 45 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Agustín Saelices. Napoleon Marchlewicz, 45 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 47 minutes into the match, Luis Andino notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of KP Chemik Police's Roger Federer. Roger Federer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rafal Huratiak stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Felix Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafal Huratiak in the 83rd minute of play. Daniel Zorita might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roger Federer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head. 86 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roger Federer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Sancho to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafal Huratiak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than KP Chemik Police throughout the match.
