With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luis Andino in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roger Federer saved KP Chemik Police from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Napoleon Marchlewicz, 45 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 47 minutes into the match, Luis Andino notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of KP Chemik Police's Roger Federer. Roger Federer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Sancho to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafal Huratiak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than KP Chemik Police throughout the match.
