İlhami Sungurbay came out of the goal and Lautaro Mancebo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luca Zorita's late challenge caught a İSTANBULLS FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luca Zorita helped the player get up and apologised.

The wind increased when Joel Gaona made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Joel Gaona made a precise shot to the right of İlhami Sungurbay. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without İlhami Sungurbay having to interfere. Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 77 minutes into the match, Alberto Tafalla dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of İlhami Sungurbay, 0-5. İlhami Sungurbay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 86th minute of the match. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Turan Üngörmüş in the 88th minute of play. 88 minutes into the game, Ahmet Turan Üngörmüş cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Dante Lacasa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without İlhami Sungurbay having to interfere.
