The supporters of MDP ES TRICOLOR Q22 booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gisbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florentino Guillen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chan Clet. Florentino Guillen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. 36 minutes into the match, Agustín Saelices had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Florentino Guillen. MDP ES TRICOLOR Q22's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Agustín Saelices was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Florentino Guillen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. MDP ES TRICOLOR Q22's Florentino Guillen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 44th minute of play. Melchor Silbestre kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When Chan Clet came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the MDP ES TRICOLOR Q22 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chan Clet couldn't finish the play. In the 58th minute, Marcelo Delgado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Cristian Sancho's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Florentino Guillen firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 66th minute of the match MDP ES TRICOLOR Q22 got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marcelo Delgado ran over to the corner to take the kick. Marcelo Delgado made a great header on MDP ES TRICOLOR Q22's corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save. Daniel Zorita kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chan Clet in the 72nd minute of play. The corner led MDP ES TRICOLOR Q22's Marcelo Delgado to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucio Rayman in the 90th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 92 minutes into the game, MDP ES TRICOLOR Q22's Chan Clet nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Ecuador's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because MDP ES TRICOLOR Q22 had won, even though Ecuador had held more of the ball.
