The supporters of Ecuador booed when CORSARZE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zachariasz Zajonc didn't get a good kick on the ball. CORSARZE's Nicolás Blandi was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 41st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After 44 minutes, Zdzislaw Kolbe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CORSARZE and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 44th match minute, CORSARZE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zdzislaw Kolbe to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind CORSARZE's goalkeeper Ksawery Andrychowski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 46 minutes, Camilo Gisbert mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ecuador and the CORSARZE players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Camilo Gisbert got a free kick in the 46th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Grzegorz Mikulski managed to get in a good position for a shot. CORSARZE's supporters rose to their feet, but Grzegorz Mikulski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luz Palacio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, CORSARZE's Zdzislaw Kolbe got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Zachariasz Zajonc kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Oséias Veloso came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oséias Veloso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Oséias Veloso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. Cristian Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ksawery Andrychowski having to make a save. Ksawery Andrychowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 75th minute, Nicolás Blandi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. CORSARZE's 江锋树 was substituted for Nicolás Blandi. Luz Palacio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Ksawery Andrychowski made a huge save. When Radoslaw Wasikowski fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CORSARZE's protests and gave Radoslaw Wasikowski a yellow card for diving instead. After 83 played minutes CORSARZE got a freekick which was hit by Radoslaw Wasikowski. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 85th minute after CORSARZE's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Felix Montenegro took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Felix Montenegro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ksawery Andrychowski quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ksawery Andrychowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luz Palacio in the 89th minute. Ecuador's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
