Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Challestone S.C.'s Selmi Uğurcan started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Benito Sanz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gregorio Mel showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. In the 6thth minute of the game Gregorio Mel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Gregorio Mel kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benito Sanz. That made the score 2-0 in the 8 minute of play. Alex Capone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Challestone S.C. fans' excitement grew in the 41st match minute when Challestone S.C.'s Gregorio Mel looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.

After a rather tough play, Challestone S.C.'s Harald Wester got a free kick in the 51st minute. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregorio Mel in the 53rd minute of play. Gregorio Mel struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Challestone S.C.. Challestone S.C.'s Edwin Tenorio was substituted for Raul Verga. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Gregorio Mel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Gregorio Mel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 78 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Gregorio Mel came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gregorio Mel in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Gregorio Mel put it in 9-0 from a short distance just to the right of Benito Sanz. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Robert Prosinečki managed to get in a good position for a shot. Challestone S.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Robert Prosinečki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Juan Rubio's late challenge caught a Challestone S.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juan Rubio helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Juan Rubio got a free kick in the 84th minute. Gregorio Mel scored 10-0 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Alex Capone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Challestone S.C. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
