Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) In the 3rd minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chico Vass saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Chico Vass showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Chico Vass showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 21st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, FC Santo Giorgio's Zico Zidane got a free kick in the 24th minute. 25 minutes into the match, FC Santo Giorgio's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Chico Vass reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 29th minute. A very nice done corner allowed Cristian Sancho to score against Chico Vass in FC Santo Giorgio's goal. 0-2 after 30 minutes. 33 minutes into the game, Zico Zidane cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rivaldo Sagel in the 36th minute. After 38 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Chico Vass was left in no man's land by his defense there! Daniel Zorita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Chico Vass having to make a save. Silvano Laurins short, quick shot in the 47thth minute got Julio Vera to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Silvano Laurin made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Silvano Laurin came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 52 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Sancho. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Chico Vass made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Felix Montenegro put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Chico Vass. After 60 played minutes FC Santo Giorgio got a freekick which was hit by Silvano Laurin. When Nico Garrido came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the FC Santo Giorgio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nico Garrido couldn't finish the play. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvano Laurin in the 65th minute of play. Roy Keane hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. In the 71st match minute, FC Santo Giorgio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roy Keane to maneuver through the defense. FC Santo Giorgio made a substitution. Ryland Giggs replaced Rivaldo Sagel. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Zorita who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 82ndth minute tested the skills of Chico Vass when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 88th minute, Zico Zidane hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Luis Andino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Luis Andino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chico Vass breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Silvano Laurin took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-5. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC Santo Giorgio throughout the match.
