Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. Agustín Saelices kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zico Zidane in the 3rd minute of play. In the 4th minute of the match FC Santo Giorgio got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Silvano Laurin ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on FC Santo Giorgio's corner Silvano Laurin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. Chico Vass showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 5th minute of the match. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Silvano Laurin sent off a good shot on target. 11 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Chico Vass narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 12th minute. A well done corner resulted in Felix Montes drilling the ball in to score 0-2 behind FC Santo Giorgio's goalkeeper. Silvano Laurin scored 1-2 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Silvano Laurin in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Nico Garrido sent off a good shot on target. Julio Vera was a little too slow when Nico Garrido got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 19th minute. The score was now 2-2. When FC Santo Giorgio's Zico Zidane in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. Chico Vass showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 26th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chico Vass having to interfere. Chico Vass made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 41st minute of play. The supporters of FC Santo Giorgio booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Sancho didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Silvano Laurin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Silvano Laurin made a kick off. An unexpected shot in the 58th minute by Daniel Zorita got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rivaldo Sagel in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chico Vass having to interfere. FC Santo Giorgio's Edgardo Calderón was substituted for Nico Garrido. In the 69th minute, Cristian Sancho reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Chico Vass. The goal made the score 3-4. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ecuador fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 71st minute. Penalty! In the 73rd minute there was a penalty for FC Santo Giorgio. Zenon Gibowski stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Julio Vera. 4-4. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Silvano Laurin managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Santo Giorgio's supporters rose to their feet, but Silvano Laurin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgardo Calderón in the 78th minute of the match. In the 79th minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-5. Chico Vass made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 85th minute. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgardo Calderón, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Chico Vass tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zico Zidane, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. 94 minutes into the match, Edgardo Calderón notched a goal, 5-5, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
