Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s Reinaldo Damião proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- from getting a goal against them. Reinaldo Damião showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Noboa in the 4th minute of the match. A throw-in in the 6th minute of the game was made by Efrain Moruga with Eliseo Noboa as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Hugo Ferrant made in the 8th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s Diego Velloso. With a little luck, Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s Reinaldo Damião got control of the ball when Aaron Alcocer tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lautaro Puig's late challenge caught a Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lautaro Puig helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Lautaro Puig hit a great ball. Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s Diego Velloso quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Hugo Ferrant, made in the 16th minute of the game. Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s Wágner Massa managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Efrain Moruga in the 18 minute of the game. A sloppy throw-in by Eliseo Noboa in the 20th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s Wágner Massa. Efrain Moruga made in the 25th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Eliseo Noboa immediately put the ball in play. Reinaldo Damião made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Tasis in the 26th minute of play. The throw-in from Hugo Ferrant in the 27th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s Simão Mello. After having played for 29 minutes, Marquinhos Cavalcante managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Marquinhos Cavalcante was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s Reinaldo Damião played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Noboa in the 31st minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Teodoro Munhoz came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute, Hugo Ferrant hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eliseo Noboa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Gugu Mandrak in the 59th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s Gugu Mandrak fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. 63 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Andrey Kovtun came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abel Carballo hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 69th minute, Andrey Kovtun reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Benito Sanz. The goal made the score 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Gugu Mandrak managed to get in a good position for a shot. Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s supporters rose to their feet, but Gugu Mandrak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 74th minute, Lautaro Puig ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Reinaldo Damião was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrey Kovtun in the 78th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th minute, Zé Carlos Vaz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marquinhos Arce kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Lautaro Puig scored 2-2 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Reinaldo Damião, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 88th minute, Eliseo Noboa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Costa Rica fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Andrey Kovtun struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-. The crowd rose to their feet as Zé Carlos Vaz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benito Sanz. That made the score 3-3 in the 93 minute of play. Andrey Kovtun struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-. 97 minutes into the game, Gugu Mandrak recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Benito Sanz. Gugu Mandrak showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-4.
