When the match had been going on for 7 minutes, 【E ➣ Los Pincha Ratas's Delmiro Clemencin got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Demonde Jacobson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vicente Confesor in the 11th minute of play forced Jamaica's goalkeeper Demonde Jacobson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th match minute, Jamaica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romon Oliver to maneuver through the defense. Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Jamaica from getting a goal against them.

There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. 【E ➣ Los Pincha Ratas fully deserved thier win.
