Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Anselmo Monteiro kicked off to start the match. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anselmo Monteiro got free with Julio Vera in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anselmo Monteiro in the 14th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cantera FC were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ambrosio Astera took the corner. Ambrosio Astera made a great header on Cantera FC's corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 20th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquilino Felo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angel Millano hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Anselmo Monteiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. Luis Andino struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hakkı Türel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aquilino Felo having to interfere. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Cantera FC were victorious despite being under pressure from Ecuador for much of the match.
