TurboUC's Orlín Rozas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 6th minute of play. After 11 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Orlín Rozas was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 17th match minute, TurboUC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xie Zheng Liang to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Salomón Avendaño tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Ángel Riesco in the 22nd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Ángel Riesco in the 25th minute of the match. Orlín Rozas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 29th minute of play. Salomón Avendaño had several of the Ecuador's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 30 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Julio Vera as he didn't even see the shot coming. With his leg Julio Vera managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when TurboUC's Salomón Avendaño fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Salomón Avendaño in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 39th minute TurboUC were awarded a corner. Thomas Lawrie went to the cornerflag to take it. TurboUC's Thomas Lawrie was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Julio Vera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when John Snow tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miguel Ángel Riesco in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Orlín Rozas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 55 minutes, Orlín Rozas successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Miguel Ángel Riesco struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TurboUC. Miguel Ángel Riesco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salomón Avendaño, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 62nd minute Miguel Ángel Riesco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salomón Avendaño in the 65th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Orlín Rozas in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Orlín Rozas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 77th minute of play. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from John Snow, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salomón Avendaño in the 81st minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 84 minutes into the match, TurboUC's Salomón Avendaño sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. TurboUC were awarded a corner in the 85th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Thomas Lawrie took the corner. Thomas Lawrie made a great header on TurboUC's corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save. 89 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Salomón Avendaño came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luis Andino kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. After having played for 94 minutes, Salomón Avendaño managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TurboUC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Salomón Avendaño was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
