Spectators: 52 (Terracing: 39, Seating: 12, VIP seats: 1) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Daniel Zorita made the kick off which started today's match. 7 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fidel Veronica. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. BK Gubbhöft's Isaac Jonasson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 12th minute of play. Isaac Jonasson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 16th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ove Salkvist in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Fidel Veronica in the 25thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Julio Vera, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 26th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaac Jonasson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Zorita in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Isaac Jonasson saved BK Gubbhöft from getting behind. In the 31st play minute Ove Salkvist came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Julio Vera. 2-0. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ove Salkvist in the 40th minute of play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fidel Veronica stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Ove Salkvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Ove Salkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hans-Georg Luabunnum, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Fidel Veronica struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BK Gubbhöft. BK Gubbhöft's Bosse Bacon was substituted for Sten Hydén. If Hans-Georg Luabunnum had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hans-Georg Luabunnum in the 71st minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Hans-Georg Luabunnum notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, BK Gubbhöft's Simone Panetti got a free kick in the 80th minute. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fidel Veronica in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ecuador's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because BK Gubbhöft had won, even though Ecuador had held more of the ball.
